Whether it’s working with theater or doing live readings, our interdisciplinary projects mix sound with visuals and spoken word to bring new life to storytelling and performance. Fågelbo teater

Fågelbo Teater is a distinguished Ukrainian women’s ensemble based in Stockholm, known for blending traditional music with modern arrangements while emphasizing authentic vocal performances. Their unique style draws on ancient, pre-Christian traditions, bringing to life the deep, ancestral roots of Ukrainian culture through powerful and heartfelt singing. My Friend Cello is an interactive performance for children aged 3-6, where they discover the magic of the cello through the story of main characters. Hur känner du att du är rädd?

How Do You Feel Fear? is a powerful theatrical production featuring 18 short plays written by Ukrainian youth, aged 15-21, who have endured the trauma of war. Directed by Lars Rudolfsson, the performance combines absurdity with emotional depth, highlighting resilience through music and choreography. It is performed by acting students from the Stockholm University of the Arts, Orionteatern actors, and Ukrainian cellist Anna Nuzha, offering a poignant look into the lives of young Ukrainians affected by conflict. We truly enjoy collaborating with other musicians and often perform on various stages with vocalists, pianists, organists, instrumental duets, chamber ensembles, and orchestras. These collaborations allow us to explore new dimensions of the musical world, discovering new sounds and creative possibilities with every performance. Here are some examples:


Cellists Marie Macleod and Anna Nuzha performed a heartfelt concert in Nacka at Ringparksstugan, where their beautiful harmonies and seamless collaboration captivated the audience. Maria Lyashevych is a great Ukrainian pediatric surgeon with 15 years of experience, who, alongside her medical studies, graduated from the conservatory with a specialization in violin. Now living in Stockholm, she is pursuing a new medical degree while still finding time to dedicate to music. She welcomes opportunities to perform with chamber ensembles and orchestras, enriching her musical journey.

Mälaröarnas Musiksällskap, founded in 1969 on Färingsö, is a vibrant musical society that has grown to include a symphony orchestra, jazz bands, brass ensembles, and a variety of guest soloists and conductors. Under expert artistic leadership, the society provides its musicians with ample opportunities for musical growth. The symphony orchestra, MÄMUS, features a full complement of strings, woodwinds, brass, harp, and percussion, and performs a range of classical and themed concerts, including the annual summer concert at Ekebyhovs slott.
