The technical rider is approximate, as each location has unique conditions and architectural acoustics. To achieve the best sound, we recommend an free on-site meeting to determine and agree upon the necessary equipment and its optimal placement on stage.
Piacella Duo appreciate if you use your standard suppliers for requested sound equipment. If you need, you can request equipment from us.
• Grand piano (any size) / Acoustic piano / Electric piano and Piano stool / Bench
If it’s electric piano:
— 88-key, weighted keyboard (preferred brands: Yamaha, Roland, Nord, etc.)
— Additional stereo-Di-Box, and pair of Jack-Jack cables
— Keyboard stand & Sustain pedal
— Music stand, (if the piano does not have a built-in one)
— Stool or bench
— Music stand
If itʼs a huge hall:
— Microphone for cello amplification DPA-4099C on boom-stand and all necessary cables
If we are working with an electric piano and loudspeakers:
• Professional sound engineer for setup and monitoring
• Reliable 220V power supply with accessible outlets
• Mixer
• Stage monitors, or at least one
• One or two power-amplified speakers (depending on venue size)
• If the hall is very big and you want to amplify the sound of grand / acoustic piano: two condenser microphone DPA-4099P or AKG-414 (or analogue) on boom-stand
Dressing-room:
• Private space to change, store instruments, and prepare for the performance
Refreshments:
• Three bottles of still water
Meals (if applicable):
• Preferred options: Pizza Quattro Formaggi & Classic Margherita for duo and sound engineer
